You're playing into the hands of the NFL network who is trying to charge the cable companies much more than what the normal going rate is for carrying channels. If the cable companies cave-in they will just pass along the extra costs onto your rates.
Check the total cost of switching to satellite, it might be cheaper to hit a sports bar to see the NFL channel games.

im dropping cable too. This pisses me off. They don't even show some of my Eagles game. Philadelphia Eagles are my favorite. They won't miss us man. They got plenty other customers. But who cares. Bitches.
