Why isn't there a new Grey's Anatomy on tonight?!

Because of the stupid writer's strike, the makers of these shows wanted to stretch out what "new" episodes they have left, to hold us over until something can be done...or until the strike is finished with.
That's why we have to wait until next Thursday for a new episode of Grey's.
November sweeps is over....writers are still on strike....if the writers were never on strike then normally nothing will be new until Jan/Feb for those sweep months.
Pretty much the writers are on strike and nobody is sure how long it can expect - it could last until next year and new shows might come on air as late as March, depending onto if they have made a contract with those writers on strike. Hopefully it won't last long!
