Question: And does anyone gettit???

Answers: And does anyone gettit???

no dont get it but it makes me smile looks like my other half lolxx

getting phil collins career back on track

its about plugging that song...and also just making you want it

It's about cadbury's chocolate. There is a remake out with some model taking off the gorilla in her bra. Advertising bra's of course. Wish I had the link but I don't. I love that add though.

You can put a gorilla in a lab and train him to do just about anything for chocolate.

It's about grabbing your attention & it seems to have done that. A lot better than Cillit Bang for example.

OK, the gorilla is there only because it stands out and it's an image you will remember which has worked because everyone is talking about it. The build up to the gorilla playing the drums is like the build up you feel when you crave chocolate. When you have been craving chocolate and finally get a taste of it then it's pure Ecstasy. This is the feeling the gorilla is experiencing when he finally gets to play the drums. It's all about the build up of something you enjoy doing. The campaign has worked big time for Cadbury and Phil.

Dear g*d, I really didn't think the intelligence on these question pages was great, but now it has hit rock bottom.....the advert is for chocolate, and guess what, .....because you are talking about it, it worked, didn't it. .....also the song is really good......think about it in an abstract way....the gorilla is getting chilled out listening to the tones and music from Phil Collins.....really letting the music get inside his head.......he shakes his head from side to side......and then POW.....he comes in, right on cue, beating out this hot rhythm on the skins.......yes, I know it is a bloke in a gorilla suit, and it took 2 weeks to train him to play that bit of drum music but think outside the box and let your imaginationwander a bit...... anybody disagree, tough. I think it is one of the best adverts this year

From the Cadbury website, it's Drumming gorillas, Phil Collins and Glass And A Half Full Productions? Essentially "just seemed like the right thing to do"..."no clever science"..."just an effort to make you smile, in exactly the same way Cadbury Dairy Milk does. Apparently there's more to come if a gorilla isn't enough!?!
Attached link shows this and lets you watch the ad online...!

You're not supposed to get it; it's just about pure joy - if you look on Cadbury's website they say that these adverts are just about making you smile. It's as simple as that!

And of course it hasn't done Dairy Milk or Phil Collins any harm along the way; I see they're plugging Phil Collins' "Hits" CD in time for Christmas. I liked his music anyway, but I still really like the advert.

So that's it - Cadburys just want to make us smile (and buy Dairy Milk).

Those moments of pure pleasure (like you are supposed to get when you eat Cadburys)
