A young boy was found with blood all over him. The detectives find the parents and one very dead nanny, killed by an internet fling. The wife is cheating and the dad finds out the kid is not his. This disturbs elliot because the guy really loves his kid. To make matters worse, the wife's boyfriend is the actual father. This of course leads to some heated confrontations and the boyfriend files for custody and the wife files for divorce. The husband kills the wife and flees to a cabin he owns a couple of hours away. During time at home Elliot asks Kathy if she saw anyone else while they were separated to which she answers yes. She then senses Elliots fears and tells him she never slept with the guy. When called to apprehend the father at the cabin, Olivia offers to take Kathy to her doctor's appointment. They are then hit by a drunk driver and Kathy goes into labor. Olivia works furiously with the rescue attempt (they need the jaws of life because Kathy was hit on the passenger side and is pinned in) and reassures Kathy all the way thru the delivery of the baby. When Elliot finally makes it to the hospital (he had to be flown in by helicopter) he finds out he has a healthy baby boy. Kathy tells him the baby is his and wants to name him Elliot Jr. He spends some time with Kathy and the baby and leaves the room to where Liv is waiting in the hallway. She asks about Kathy and the baby. He tells her they are fine and thanks her. He begins to walk past but then whips around, grabs Liv and gives her the longest, sweetest hug I think they've ever shared. It really made my heart race. Hope this helps :)
