Next week will only be episode 11...how can they end the season after only 11 episodes?

season finale
Well last season it was a split season, so I'm assuming this season is too. They're probably going to air the second half of Season 2 in January.

i just posted a question just like this one i was wondering if it was do to the writers strike and my answers seem to be pointing in the same direction maybe its ending early becuz of it which would suck cuz the tension is building so quickly and more things still need to be answered but for now we'll just have to wait and see.
I KNOW! I'm sure people across America were screaming at the same time "FINALE?!" I'm hoping that it is a split season like some of the bigger shows do...I can't imagine (if the strike ends) that they won't return for sweeps.

I totally agree. They should continue it later. This is not the last episode of season 2 look for yourself.
According to the blogs on the NBC website it is the end of the season at least until the strike is over. Unless it doesn't end for a while then it really is the season Finale. I don't think it will be series finale though, too many people are addicted! So sad though. They really are going to ruin this season. Dumb strike. I make $8/hr. Be happy with what you have !
It's the season finale, possibly. The Writers Guild of America is on strike, and has been for a month. For an explanation, watch the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJ55Ir2jC... which lays things out pretty clearly. Recent polls show that only 4% of respondents are siding with the studios. Talks between the WGA and the studios resumed today, and if the studios give in quickly then everyone will go back to work and there will be a full season. If the studios insist on being greedy, then the season for all shows will be 10-12 episodes.
Tim Kring, the creator of Heroes, as well as the cast members, have all been out on the picket lines supporting the writers. Production has been shut down because they have refused to cross picket lines. The same goes for many other shows - the producers, directors and actors are all supporting the writers of their shows. So now it's up to the studios and how greedy and stubborn they want to be.
I would die if next week was the series finale lol. Heroes is my favorite show.
I did hear what you heard but as far as I know there are 11 episodes in the can and that is all they have. But I heard the season will go on. You just don't know when. The writr's strike is about to take it's toll and we are about to start watching Christmas specials and ball games.
