im not sure because the first season isnt even over yet. But, I know for a fact you can buy every episode that has already aired on the Itunes store right now. I cant wait until the first season is out though! I LOVE that show.
well complete season is usually sold after all episodes have been aired. Gossip Girl has a full 22 eps season meaning the show will be on till april or may (maybe later cause of the WGA strike), you'll have to wait till august or early september to get the dvds. But... sometimes series are split in half-seasons and you can find incomplete seasons on dvd, try on amazon.com in a few months
