Hiro figured out who Adam Monroe is because of some pictures that lead him to go back in time to when Kaito had Adam placed in a cell for trying to release the Shante virus 138 on the planet to kill off most of he world. Kaito and Pratt talked about the virus being sent to Odessa to protect it. Pratt wanted it destroyed.
Meanwhile, Elle has come to try and get Claire and her family to accept her but claire is angry and threatening to expose them all. Claire is also trying to get in touch with the Haitian to have him take the sad memories from her or at least to tell her what to do.
Mohinder has told Bob that the mixture of his blood with Claire's is a serum that will work on Nikki, who is currently living with Micah in New Orleans. Mohinder is going to shoot her with the drug but right now Mich and his cousin are in trouble. the Cousin broke in a house to retrieve Micah's napsack and was captured by the hoods who owned the house and they threw her in a van. Micah went running home.
As for Pratt, she had a visit form Adam and Peter who thinks Adam is trying to destroy the virus and not release it. Adam brought a gun. Peter told him that he would go in alone. Peter talked to Pratt, told her that he saw the future and wants to avoid it from happening. When he got back to the car to see Adam he had the wrong address, (Arizona), but Pratt saw Adam at the car and she shot him with a shotgun. She also shot Peter. She went to finish off Adam and Peter disarmed her.
On their way from Mexico Sylar was found out by the brother while he let the sister nearly kill him again only to help her control her power. When the sister told the brothr that Sylar had helped her, the brother showed her Sylar's wanted poster , saying how Sylar killed his own mother. Sylar claimed self defense and told the pair he is like the sister and his mother tried to kill him for that. The sister understood saying she was a killer too. The brother was still suspicious so Sylar killed him and before the sister could see the dead brother he made love to the sister.
Pratt was tied down to a chair and she told Peter Adam was the one who is trying to release the virus. Peter said Adam saved Nathan. Peter used Parkman's pwere to read Pratt's mind and find out that the virus 138 was in Odessa. They were going to leave when Adam untied Pratt to get her to go after the shotgun. She did and he shot Pratt in the head with his hand gun. Afterwards, he mumbled to Pratt when they remember me I will be sure that they remember you as well. Pratt was the one who muated the virus.
As Mohinder is going to see Nikki, his cell phone rings and it is Sylar at Mohinder's place. He has disposed of the babysitter and he and his new girlfriend want Mohinder's help. They have Molly.
And in Odessa, Adam is leading Peter into the complex and they are going after the virus but time freezes and Hiro tells Peter he must kill Adam. Hiro has his sword with him. Peter says no and light's up one of Elle's energy balls. Hiro says that Adam killed his father. Peter is not will to let Adam die. All you see then is Hiro running at them with his sword up high to kill Adam.
