Was there ever a female DR Who?!

Question: If so who was she and in which episodes did she appear?

Answers: If so who was she and in which episodes did she appear?

There was Joanna Lumley as the 13th Doctor in the "Curse of the Fatal Death" charity benefit (for Comic Relief UK) spoof starring Rowan Atkinson (long out-of-print on VHS) and Barbara Bennedetti in the mid-Eighties fan-produced episodes (Peter K's link has the details on those).

There were female Time Lords (Romana and Sylvester McCoy-era nemisis the Rani)...outside the two versions mentioned above, there is/was no female Doctor in legit BBC continuity.

Joanna Lumley played Dr. Who briefly in a spoof.

nope, sorry, there was never a female Dr. Who.

great show though!! by any chance are you also a fan of Battlestar Galactica? haha, its an awesome show.

Joanna Lumley in the Rowan Atkinson special

There was a specially made film called
Wrath of Eukor
with Barbara Benedetti but it was not a BBC TV production, just a short for a sci-fi festival. DVD of that and other episodes for the remarkable price of $2. Shipping might add quite a bit though!

there were female time lords in the 2nd or 3rd doctor series not sure which
dont no if that answers your question as far as i no there were no female Drs.

Female Time Lords, yes.

Real Female "The Doctor 'Who' ", no.

Parodies and jokes, some times. But Gender swapping is not really intended for when you gain a new body.

Yes
A female doctor appeared at the end of Doctor Who and the curse of fatal death spinoff. The female doctor was played by Joanna Lumley.

Hope this Helps

Not in the main series

No but i heard they were thinking about it. I hope not it wouldn't be the same.
