How Many Stars Do I Deserve?!
Question: This morning I was faced with the most terrifying thing ever my own bushtucker trail!!!!
My cat had brought in a mouse and did not notice it until hoovering, I screamed no one in house to help so fetched the dustpan and broom thinking sweep it up and throw it out side!!
Mouse though "Oh no you do not" and ran across the living room floor so I jumped on sofa, then stood on coffee table whilst mouse was just looking at me!
I then managed to find courage and sweep mouse to door and lifted broom under furry little bum it squeecked bad but hey up and over the door and into garden!
How many stars do I get for my bravery??

if i could give you 10 stars momof3 i would!! i had a similar experience in my house except i screamed my head off which startled the most who ran under the sink and would not come out and i had to wait for my b/f to come home by which time the mouse had some how or other made its way into the wall cavity and up into the loft. it stayed fot weeks and used to scurry about at night, my son was forever getting out of bed at night in terror. we had to call a pest control company and unfortunately my story does not have a happy ending for the mouse. so i am very proud of you and you do indeed deserve to get at least 100 stars!!!

HEY WOW THAT WAS A TOUGH CHALLENGE BUT I CAN TOP IT.
My cat also brought in a cat one day and i was home alone with my brother and it was BEHIND THE COMPUTER DESK and it was squeaking!!!!!.... it was a terrible ordeal and one i would not like to face again sadly i did not complete the bush tucker trial for the group but another camper did. my dad. he faced that mouse and showed no fear. And won the stars for the camp. The mouse sadly. Did not live on.

Funny story all my cat has brought me lately is fleas, I look like I have been drilled with a machine gun. And I have a bad cold. Just finished the song we worked on. But Poe my cat is hiding from me somewhere outside.
We often share her cat food when times are not so good works out cheaper. Usually small tin of tuna for 30p enough for us both for one day.
But even though last time she/he brought me a mouse, I tricked her, locked her inside of house, me with mouse in hallway, don't know where on earth the mouse vanished to: looked everywhere, even in the plants, until morning when I heard upstairs neighbour screaming. Asking for her husband's help.
But the sad thing is; it is best to leave cat sort out it's catch, because they usually die anyway after being bitten, I understand cats have some venom that poisons mouse.
Still think 5 stars for you; loved to have seen it all on video. But your vivid description is good.
Mice aren't too scary , I found one the other day who seemed to be rather lethargic after coming in out of the cold . So I put on a glove and picked him up put him back outside.
Now the time I walked into my bathroom and found a snake coiled and it reared up with it's mouth open as if to strike , now that was scary !
Living by myself at the time I had to get a bucket and broom and dispatch him outside.
You see we had recently had flooding in the vicinity and evidently some snakes were driven out of there underground habitat.
But you deserve a star for facing your fear and being brave.

Reminds me of when I was first married..(33 years ago phew..) anyway I heard a strange noise in the cupboard in kitchen....I went to investigate and we had kept one tier of the wedding cake in a box, to my horror a mouse was in there helping himself to the cake....I did not know what to do, my hubby was still at work, as we lived in a flat at the time, I picked up the box and ran into the bathroom and threw the whole box into the bath....what a mess....there was cake everywhere and the mouse ran out of the box and started to run up the bath....In a panic I did not know what to do so I grabbed the nearest thing, which was shaving foam and I squirted it all over the mouse.....Whereupon my hubby came in and saw what I was doing......help I cried....help....my hubby just looked at me and said what the hell did you do that for...I dont know I said, and the mouse was keeping very still in the bath full of shaving foam....what do you think he is going to do now I said....My Hubby replied "probably get a shave I should think"....next thing the mouse started to run up the bath again and my hubby screamed and so did I and the mouse fell further into the bath and we both ran outside and shut the door. Oh my God, we both nearly had a poo....but my hubby shot into the kitchen and got a jug and captured the mouse..(my hero) and stuck it outside in the garden and ran back in. We watched out of the window as it ran away full of shaving foam, boy it looked funny. Our cake went into the bin of course.....I dont think either of us deserve a star but eventually we did see the funny side of it.
yes you can have a star for that and a badge for bravery. my cat would not go outside during the day because it was scared of the birds but at night she used to bring in frogs that would sit their jumping about and she would swat them with her paw. uuuurrrrgghhhh i bloody hate frogs, nasty slimy things they jump dead high some of em'. vile !!

3 Stars. That happened to my ex once. We were sleeping on the top floor of my parents old house (from late 1800's) and we had a kitchen up there with the original pipes. A mouse got in and ran around our bedroom. Being pregnant I wasn't about to chase it, so my ex did, with a bathroom plunger in hand. Mouse got the hint, and left the way he came, and I nearly had my daughter a little early.
