"Laughing Out Loud" by Andy Horton.
I had to buy 2 other copies because of wear and tear. I like the way the book is laid out- you get the history of comedy both good and bad... then from like lecture to classroom it goes right into formatting, etc.
Some AWESOME exercises too.
