Question: I was trying to remember all the facts the other night and went back to thinking about the "forward flash" instead of the flashback and Jack saying that they shouldnt have left. What is Jack missing about the island, what Locke knows now? And I dont believe Locke would let them off the island without a hell of a fight!

there are all kinds of theory's. everything from they are in a video game, a reality show to purgatory. i dont believe any of those. i personally believe that most of them have been on the island before and had their memories erased. go back to the pilot and a couple characters say "this is all so familar". charlie knew the code for the beach boys song so easily and it was programmed by a musician. desmond says "ill see you in another life brother" all to often. but some may be starting to remember, like locke. in season 1 locke tells jack "you do believe in destiny, you just dont know it yet". in season 3, locke tells jack "you're not supposed to do this". this could be why jack wants to get back so badly in the season 3 finale flash forward. he realised locke was right. and locke remembers what happens. i think they have done this all before. its defintly one of the most genius ideas for a movie/television program i have seen since george lucas with star wars. i also believe kelvin was not dharma, he was an other and he did not die when desmond slammed his head on the rock. think about it....... when ben purged the dharma initative, ben did not have alex. alex is 16 on the show, which means she would had been born in 1988. if ben did not have her during the purge, this means that the purge happened before 1988. kelvin was in the gulf war. it ended around 1991/1992. there is no way dharma could had brought him there, ben did. i also think danielle knows much more then she has shared. she may have even been dharma. libby's story is going to be interesting. she knew desmond before the island. she was in the same psycho center as hugo. she might be dharma. so many mystery's........ the black rock, why richard doesn't age, jacob, the people on the frieghter, walkt appearing everywhere, desmond's ability, the monster. i cant wait to find out.
