One of my favorite shows. Steve Carell is a genious and is what really makes the show. I love dwight cause hes from washington so thats a plus.
the british one is totally overated, it bored me to tear's, although some of the cast are great comedians but ricky gervais is not one of them, i used to work with him and bill macrae when they were in Seona Dancing (i worked at london records), ricky was the most self centre'd egotistical character i have ever met........
anyway it won awards can you believe ? there are a lot better "comedy" shows on at the moment that dont get the recognition they deserve,
the English version was a ground breaking event and turned the comedy world on its head.
the American version is just a facsimile of the English. The guys that are saying the English version is dull etc are talking out of their @sses!
Steve Carrol an genius???? Ricky Gervais writes and directs all the episodes, Carrol is just an actor.
I love the US series. The British one is ok. I'm sad that the show is on hiatus because of the strike.
