Did anyone see Desperate Housewives where Bree wanted to get the son circumcised!
Question: I thought her husband was right. She shouldnt have done it! He is circumcised himself and didnt want his son to go thru such a surgery! I thought Bree was misinformed and selfish. Anyway, was there such a need for this in the TV programme at all!? Agree?

I really agree with you! Wasn't this baby Bree's turn to do things right? Personally it really bothered me. I know the suburban u.s. moms might go this route, but the rest of the world doesn't, for good reason. And I also think it's a direct insult to her husband, not just the conniving part.
I guess that Orson shouldn't have written a letter to all the doctors in the area. Since they both went behind each other's backs, I guess neither one was right. They should have talked it out and come to some decision based on discussion, not deviousness. But Bree made the correct choice!

I think so because it showed a problem some married couples go though. when having a baby and the father is not blood parent of the baby.and the mom has to remeber that he is the father though love not blood.
no i dont agree. the husband didnt want it because his mother had him circumcised at an age where he remembered and where he could feel the pain. a baby never remembers. and its not a surgery. all they do is take a scissor. its a party event actually.
I take it you're not in the USA, where circ is still culturally accepted. I am in the USA and am glad it was an issue on a mainstream show. So many ppl still don't think about it, like the lady on the show who said "I guess I never thought about it . . . ever."
I thought her husband was right too and Bree went WAY over the line by having it done without his knowledge or consent, whether he was the "blood" releative or not. Once done it can never be undone.
