Only read this if you really want to know what happens. I am a HUGE fan of this show and Tivo and save every episode.
While in the Panamanian prison, Michael must find a fellow inmate (by the name of Whistler) hiding in the sewer system, and must find a way to break him out. If he isn't able to break Whistler out then Michael's beloved Sara and his nephew will be killed(they were kidnapped by the company and are being held hostage-until Michael is successful in freeing Whistler from prison). Whistler is found. There are attempts made to break Whistler out but they all fail. Michael then tells Lincoln that since he is failing on breaking Whistler out that Lincoln must find Sara and LJ and break them out of where ever they are being held hostage. So, Lincoln finds out where they are and tries to save them but fails. The company in turn kills Sara as a warning to stop trying to outsmart them. Lincoln doesn't tell Michael that Sara was killed for fear that he won't break Whistler out and then Lincoln's son would be killed. Finally Lincoln comes clean with Michael about Sara. Michael continues still to try and break Whistler out of prison and fails again. The company decides that they are going to just break Whistler out on their own but fails due to Michael finds out that if Whistler escapes without his help then the company will kill his nephew and therefore stops the company from rescuing Whistler.
No one has escaped from the prison yet. Episode three recently ended and episode 4 will be available starting in January. You can watch the episodes online however and if you are as big of a fan as i am over this show then you will definitely watch just to see what happens even if you have a general idea.
