I think bev had a good voice but the majority of people who watch x-factor (younger people) choose hope instead.
Fair or not, that's the way it goes.
I was gutted when Beverley went.
I don't think Sharon expected that result. She wasn't brave enough to make the decision herself; so had it put it to the public vote - What a BIG mistake!

I don't think she sang as well as she has in the past, having said that, there is no way she should of gone tonight let alone be in the bottom two!

i was so glad that Sharon done that, she was so brave and it back fired on her and bev ,hope's day are numbered now they wont let happen again, well Sharon wont that's for sure, but bev went out like lady last night, fair play to her i only wish good things for her.
Bex strongly disagree with hirokisha, young ones are not voting for HOPE or they wouldn't have been in the bottom two (Again).
It's sad that Sharon tried to call their Bluff last night, it has obviously backfired on her, the strain on her face confirmed this!!
I just hope that it is not the last we have seen of the lovely "BEV"
I keep saying that it has already been decided who wins.
Simon wants Hope to win so that is who will win. They have no talent but can alsways be made to sound good on CD & can mime during live shows.
Rhydian should win because he has the best voice but he will be difficult to market.

I also agree with you Bev, it sounds like a set up also the "Deadlock" business. It was all about none of the judges wanted to take the wrap for casting "the vote"...and sending Bev home.
It would have been great to see a really good, black female singer win ...for a change.
Simon and Co, bang on about.."it's a singing contest etc etc" but what he really means is ..it's a marketing tool to test the record buying public...oh, and make shed loads of money on the phone lines...in the process.why doesn't he just own up to that?
The boy band that left 3 weeks ago...were soooo much better than "Hope" (Phoebe is good) why didn't the boy band go further?......they were ALL good singers. Could it be the timing?...with the emergence of other boy bands and what was looking like a saturated market.
IF ..."Hope" go further, it wont be because the public voted in their millions...it will be because "the package" and the timing ....is right.
Sorry it sounds cynical...but...they make it look so obvious more and more every year!

I think it was a shame she went Hope after that performance should have gone and to be honest I actually think Mrs O did what she did because she thought Hope would go.
I did not think Bev sang as well but most definatly every week been far better than Hope.

Absolutely gutted she has gone Bex. Sharon, I think, tried to be clever and thought Hope received the least amount of votes. She didn't dare go against Simon's act methinks, or was instructed by Simon to do what she did.xx

I will assume for a minute that the show is fair and not rigged. People vote not only for the singers but also the songs. If a song choice is good and appropriate to the artist it will receive sufficient support for the artist to come back the following week. Without You was a great hit for Harry Nillson, but it was a long time ago and it is simply not an appropriate song for a soul singer. The back catalogues of Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin and Randy Crawford are absolutely peppered with ballads that would fit an up and coming soul singer like a glove without trying to shoehorn an arrangement of a song from a different genre. She was put out not by the judges and not by the public, but the incompetence of the person who chose the song.

As for all this nonsense about Sharon, call me cynical, but methinks she could not credibly chose Hope, because Bev is so much better, but of course the judges don't want Hope out, so hey, leave it to the public vote, and lo and behold, Bev had less votes than Hope!!!!! My @rse!!!!!

Hope were Hopeless this week..Leon and Rhydian stole the show. Beverly against hope would have been ver very close in the voting and it's a shame that such a nice girl and singer was voted off befor less talented singers that night like Hope.
