Why is it that on tv shows such as King of Queens...?!

I think most men want a wife who is hotter than them and shows like "King of Queens" are meant to cater to that desire. Plus, comic actresses who aren't hot just have a tougher time making it in Hollywood, even if they're really funny. And finally, I think shows like this reflect the reality that women aren't usually as shallow as men when it comes to appearance (ie, a hot woman is usually more willing to date a not so hot guy than a hot guy is willing to date a not so hot woman).

I agree with what the answer above me is saying. Also, women tend to try and keep themselves 'up' for their husbands - or more likely for themselves. We just feel better when we look good.

Just goes to show women are better peeple!! Ha Ha! I guess men are to shallow to have a less attractive wife. You notice though that you hardly see any ugly women on tv but you do guys.
