Well.. I suppose it's part of it, It's happened before, and they just want to get their own back, but yeah I totally think Beverley should of stayed.
Sharon did what she did because she thought the public would have voted out Hope as they've been in the bottom two for the past few weeks. This way she couldn't be accused of being petty and voting out Hope because of last week's results. Unfortunately this backfired massively, and everyone on that panel was shocked by that result.
Sharon voted Beverly so she didn't have to chose. As her vote gave them both 2 votes each, it went to dead lock, therefore, it was the public that chose who stayed and who went. Sharon was right in what she did, so neither Louie or Simon could call her up about it..... just a pity the dumb public are tone deaf and chose Hope to stay.... Beverly was SO much better.

i got the impression (cos she said "you'll see why im doin this") that she did it so that the vote went to the public and the decision wasnt on her.
it backfired on sharon, did you see her face when the result was given? she was shocked, stunned and looked dissapointed, i think she was hoping that the public would have voted again who has the better talent, but the public arent smart like that, hope were bound to win from all the votes the horny teenage lads would have given! hope are no good imo

You simply MUST realise that stuff like the X-Factor, is all about the four 'celebrities' doing the judging. The acts are secondary. Oh, yes, and the millions to be made doing the shows. Hence the professional deaths of most of the winners. No time or money is wasted in developing the winners! If they cannot go out and immediately become a big hit and start generating millions, they are neglected and allowed to fade away. There is always the next winner coming long on the gravy train. Nice work if you can get it. Simon and the judges are the only REAL winners, in money as well as fame and celebrity status.

I agree there, it was petty. And for the reasons you stated. As for it going to a public vote, I have reservations here. There has been so much furore lately over vote rigging and telephone calls by the public not being monitored properly, leaving the TV companies with egg on their faces, that I'm not completely satisfied that the voting went the way they said it did. It is beginning to look like 'FIX.'
