Is the show Man Vs. Wild as popular in the U.K. as it is in the U.S?!

I didn't know people actually talk about Discovery Channel shows like that! I do like it actually...didn't know it was quite popular.
Watched the Everglades swamp episode last night. He ate maggots-gross, and he killed a turtle and ate that too-which i thought was a horrible thing to do! But the peeing on the tshirt and wrapping it around his head in the dessert episode was probably the ickiest.
