It depends what you're looking for in a hospital show. House is the best for medical mysterious and strange diagnoses. Grey's Anatomy has the most dramatic plot lines, which can pull you in if you like that, or repel you if you don't. ER has a lot of action, while still having a dramatic plot. Scrubs is hilarious and not supposed to be realistic- very cleverly written. All of the above shows are great in my opinion, but I never miss an episode of Scrubs.

I used to like ER until they stopped. since then I haven't had time to watch any tv shows.
I did like Grey's Anatomy but didn't like where they were going with the firing of Burke (which was the main reason I watched), then having O'male cheat on his wife with Lizzy...Then with Meredith Grey treating her sister so poorly this season...I do like Yang and the doctor that was dating Meredith...I hate the voice over stuff they do with Meredith...I just stopped watching...I've heard last nights show was good...I might catch it online...
I do watch "Private Practice" and enjoy it quite a bit too!
I like M*A*S*H and Private Practice. ER was good years ago.... Not so much any more. Diagnosis X is an excellent choice if you like REAL medical shows.

Grey's Anatomy - by far the freshest on the tube! ER has gotten predictable in its' old age- it used to be my favourite!
