Did you watch tonight's Grey's Anatomy?!

Question: If put in a situation similar to Bailey's, would you operate on someone who detest your race or would you pass the surgery on to someone else?

When a doctor takes the oath, she has to agree to treat anyone that needs her. I wouldn't have expected any less from Bailey, but I also loved the fact that she got Yang in on the case too, LOL.

was greys a new one tonite?

I didn't get to see it tonight but I will definitely be watching it on-line tomorrow!! ;)

Your job is to save his life. You put your feelings aside and do your job. Plus...didn't he say that it was a mistake, that he regretted it (the tattoo I mean)?

P.S. I usually don't watch Grey's....I just watched it for Gale Harold (the racist paramedic)

no, i've never seen this show before

Hey, they bleed I do to. But if anything they should be scared cuz im holding the knife.LOL But then again Im not trying to get no malpractice suit against me. So to be on the safe side I have to say it depends on the situation.

I would operate. I don't judge people. That's not my job. I couldcare less what a patint would think of my race. It would still be my job to save them.

I hope I would do as she did. She showed class and dedication to her profession by the way she handled it. I don't like this season as much though.....

I'd do it. I believe in karma. So, I think that he would get what was coming to him, eventually.

omg i would totally pass it on i wanted to like yell at that guy!!! i was like OMG NAZI!! he had the sign tatooed and everything!! me and my sister were like WHOA and then she cut the tatoo right down the middle. the end was nasty though, the guy's neck like popped open..i totally saw it coming...so i like covered my eyes but i could still see it...lexie was just standing there like omg..with like blood all over here..BLECH

but i missed the beginning half but my friend recorded it...so i will have to see it... =]

Honestly, I think I would pass. Not so much because he was a complete bigot, but because I would be afraid of a malpractice suit if he died.

Pass.

There are malpractice concerns to be dealt with here.

I wouldn't touch him in a month of Sundays.

Even if you did everything correct he could still sue you.

I just find that foolish.

You should operate. You are a surgeon...it shouldn't matter by race. It's your responsibility and job to take care of your patient.

i didn't get to watch it! my whole family is with me and i have to sleep in the den where the tv is and we had to share so we ended up watching something else. i heard it was good though. but i would operate on someone who detests my race because they would know that my race can do everything that other people can do and they might appreciate me more if i save their life.
