Holy crap - are you by chance talking about one of those British puzzle books from years ago? I used to live in England and read those all the time. Am I right? By the way, I have no idea about those metal munching moon mice or the location of your antenna.
First of all, that wasn't an antenna. You should have listened to the old wives' tales ... things do fall off when you 'fool with them' too much.
