Buffy and Angel were good together, but the relationship had to remain unrequited so it was doomed.
Buffy and Riley had what started out as a healthy relationship, but it degenerated into something unhealthy due to communication problems.
Spike tried to rape her. He is beyond scum and should have been killed off. The godawful Buffy/Spike relationship not only destroyed the show, but it betrayed everything that it once stood for. What used to be about a strong girl and her friends fighting evil together as a team turned into a story of a weak-willed woman who chose her rapist over her friends and betrayed everyone, including herself.
i wasn't crazy about buffy and spike, but i did like her with riley because he really seemed to care about her, but nothing tops buffy and angel!!!!!!!!!!!!
