It's definately worth watching. They go back in time to solve cases that happened at any time over the last hundred or so years. It's really interesting to see how those cases were handled, and why they went unsolved based on the time era & where they were in forensics at that time. The time era appropriate costumes, sets, and music is pretty neat too. I like CSI as well (but only the Vegas one for some reason), but it's such an entirely different show. CSI is more about the scientific aspect of crime solving, whereas Cold Case is more emotional.
Its different to CSI, it goes back on cases sometimes 30 years old & has nothing to do with forensics.
Oh, yes, definitely. I just love the flashbacks and the music! It's different from CSI, there's little forensics involved, mainly detective work. They work on unsolved cases even dating back to the 50's!
Can't say it's either better or worse than CSI (I'm an avid CSI fan). It's just different. Jerry B produced both, so Cold Case is also good.
There's also an episode in the first season where Brandon Routh (?) guested. He played a gay person back in the 50's! Good episode!

it doesn't go through those boring evidence montages in CSI. and its about solving old cases that didn't get a detailed enough look in the first place because of prejudices that existed when it happened.

it is cold case - so the main character brings up cases which are cold - as in, ones which havent been solved yet...after some time.
CSI is really good. i like them both the same.
damn straight its worth watching. it isnt just bout solving the crime but it gives you a betta insight into what the familys of the victim went through when the crime took place and what they are still going through. i would recommend tha show to anyone
I love both shows.....for different reasons.
Yes I'ts pretty good I just started watching it a few weeks ago and I'm hooked the same goes for Law and Order SVU
