Whats going on with the writes strike? what shows arent being played?!

Question: So far the only shows being effected on air are talk shows. Jay Leno, Letterman, Stephan Cobert, etc..
Other shows have limited numbers left of new shows before they will switch. They had list of shows and number of new ones in the latest Entertainment Weekly, and the only one I really remember was Family Guy has 8 new episodes and American Dad has 10. I did read the rest but for some reason those are the ones that stuck out in my memory.
Fox's 24 has been postponed until after the strike, so it will not begin in January as fans had been waiting a year for. Many other shows that would have started after the new year are in this boat.
Good news for fans of some cancelled series tho, shows like Jerico have episodes in the can that are being yanked out and will be plugging in spots that will soon be left to fill with reruns or reality tv.
Soaps so far are good to go. All shows report that they have episodes good until mid January, and several writers are sneaking across strike lines simply because soaps are in dire straits already with declining viewship that many felt that if this strike went like the one in 1988 soaps would be dead completely and off the air forever!

As for broadway that is different strike, that is the stagehands that are striking not the writers. Thus making broadway dark.

Hope this answers your question! :)

It contains shows that have been delayed/affected because of the strike.

Also Broadway has been affected.
