Why is Monica blaming Jason for Emily's death?!

Question: We had a breaking news story at the moment Jason told Monica that Emily was dead. I realize Monica is devastated but I don't understand why she would blame Jason for it. It had nothing to do with him. AZ is crazy. He didn't go there to start a mob war. He went there originally to kill Lulu. Poor Jason. He is absolutely tore up about Emily. He loved her!!

she just wanted someone to blame. she will probably apologize later for everything she said.

i didn't even know or haven't seen that Monica accused Jason for her death i still feel like Nicolas had another black out & killed her.but Jason is a ruthless killer so don't feel to bad for him

because she doesnt know the whole story, she believes jasons lifestyle brang on emilys death.

Yeah, I felt bad for him. I think partially she's just taking out her anger on him. At first I kinda thought about it and realized maybe he did have a little to do with it, but like you said, AZ was there for Lulu to begin with. Also, there is another killer, so it could have had nothing at all to do with AZ anyway. I think it was mostly just convenient for Monica, obviously that hurt her bad and she had to take it out on someone, and it happened to be Jason since he was the only one there. I wish I could go give him a hug! LOL

Because she thinks Sonny and Jason are the ones who brought Anthony Zacchara to Port Charles in the first place, when technically it was Kate who brought Trevor back, and then Johnny came, who brought LuLu into it, AZ chasing after LuLu. Monica blames Jason because he brought Emily into his "mobster" lifestyle. Don't forget, Emily did have that fling with Sonny awhile back too.

Because from Monica's perspective Jason is in the mob and the mob wouldn't have come to that party and harmed Em if Jas hadn't been there. She needs to be able to blame someone and unfortunately it happens to be Jason. It was so hard to watch Monica throw Jas out of the house and tell him not to come to the funeral.

Jason puts his life in danger with no regards but Emily was gentle and a doctor, just doesn't seem right for her to be the one to die. Monica is losing everyone in her familybut she'll come around when she finds out about Jake

AZ came to Port Charles via Trevor to take over Jason and Sonny's business. If they were not in the mob then AZ would never have had a reason to be in town and Johnny would have never meet Lulu.

While it may seem a reach there is some logic in it.

I am always amazed that so many General Hospital Fans cannot seem to get a grip on the idea that Jason and Sonny are killers. If you were to meet men like them in real life you would be appalled. If your daughter brought home a "Jason" and told you he was a mob hit man "But a good guy" you would vomit.

Sonny and Jason are not heroes, they are not good guys (Remember to that Sonny is a CHILD MOLESTER: Karen (Scott's daughter) was underage when he got her hooked on drugs, forced her to strip in his club and slept with her. He needs to be a registered sex offender) They are the bad guys

They have a history of brinning violence upon thier freinds and family and I for one was glad that Monica finnaly called Jason on it and called him what he is a KILLER.

I have often wondered if the female fans of GH are really so shallow that because Jason is good looking (and Sonny as well) that they cannot see these characters for the bad people they are. In most fiction the bad guys get what is due them, but on GH it seems as long as you look good with your shirt off you are justified in being a slime And no matter what you may want to think ALL MAFIA/MOBSTERS are slime.

Mac, Cooper (though that remains to be seen) The new detective played by the guy who use to play Frank on PC, and Lucky (Despite his drug use and very much because of his ability to over come it) and the people on the PCPD are the heroes and it is sad that the writers of GH are so enamored with the mob culture that they allow this. In many ways this is no different then when we complain about rap culture glorifying violence and thuggery.

I still can't believe they killed Emily!

All the above answers. She'll get over it. Jason is all she has left. Maybe this will turn Jason's life around and he'll settle down and give up the life of crime.

that is what i said.they are not even sure that it was AZ.AZ probably didnt even know emily was jason's sister so he couldnt have killed her for that reason.not that he killed her anyway

She is just really distraught and had to blame someone. Plus, the guy was an enemy of Sonny and Jason and probably assumed that he was going after their families for what they have done.

She believes that Jason invites trouble which in turn got Emily killed.

She'll get over it!!

Shes gonna want to be a Grandmother after all!!!

=}

I was so angry at Monica, could she not see the torture in this mans face. He lost someone that loved dearly. I wanted to slap her. I hope one day she realize what a BIG mistake she has made.

So that you can get caught up in the lives of fictional characters to compensate for the fact that you don't have a life yourself?

Who are these people???
