No, Sylar was not involved in this episode. He is still on the way back up from Mexico with the twins.
Tonight was about Claire an Noah and Adam and blood.
If Peter was there you were not shown he was there. You were just shown that Noah doesn't die and you don't know who it was that saves his life. It could have been Suresh or it could have been Adam and Peter. You never know.
But Sylar was in Texas last he was seen.
Nope. Tonight's episode didn't feature Sylar at all. In fact, I'm afraid they have added way too many storylines at this point. Tonight was mostly about the cheerleader and Hiro.
Didn't see him at all this time. There is usually a character or two not in each episode and then they are in the next one.

I think due to the writer's strike, that storyline has taken a backseat. I'm sort of glad since the new characters from Mexico kinda suck. Killing people with a plague doesn't really seem like a cool power to me.
Tonight episode was awesome. The end had another one of those, "Oh my god!" moments. Very well written.
I watched, and no, Sylar was not in this episode. Claire's Dad was killed tonight. The preview for next week shows Sylar back in NYC and he finds Dr. Suresh.
Only two episodes left for this season.
I purchased the DVD Box set of the First Season. Have yet to watch, too busy right now.
Sylar wasn't even on the canvas this time, it was all HRG. And was it ever HRG. I just knew he was going to shoot Mohinder, but then Mohinder turned around a shot him!!! I was just lost in space at that. But I kept thinking, they're not really going to kill him off, the character became too popular. They only intended him to be a 4-episode character, but he just kind of took off on his own. Then I remembered Claire's blood, and what Adam did for Nathan, and I actually knew where they were going. And they WENT THERE!!!!! I wonder if this is how the virus spreads, when they start putting Claire's blood into people who DON'T have the mutated gene.
