Yes. He was the frog on the spot - Breaking News! "Kermit the Frog here, I've just arrived at the scene of", and it would go into a breaking news/journalistic account of one of any number of nursery rhymes/children's story, he interviewed 'witnesses', etc...

He made other appearances also, quite often with his 'nephew' the little green frog.

That is where he was started many eons ago. It was over 35 years ago.

Yes he made his appearance in Sesame Street though I cannot recall which episode it was.

Not quite...though long connected with "Sesame Street",Kermit had been around in some form since the late 1950s. It was around the time of that show's creation that the Kermit the Frog the world knows had already been around a while (there are several appearances Jim Henson made on the Ed Sullivan show with his creations including Kermit prior to 1969).

yes, that were he song it's not easy being green.

Yes he was on! I remember one 'scene' he was in as the reporter and he was interviewing Humpty Dumpty and Kermit accidentally knocked him off the wall! You see the ambulance come to take him away to try to put him back together. Of course Kermit felt real bad. Thanks for the memory!
