What's the deal with the Writer's Strike?!
Question: In my opinion, I am glad they are doing it. I bet the people that write these great shows get paid a lot less then the stars that act them out. They should stand up for themselves. It kinda reminds me of all these fortune 500 companies that don't want to pay those workers who bust their butt producing the products that make them the profits.....Instead LET"S FIRE THEM< HIRE SOMEONE FOR MINIMUM WAGE and pocket ALL THE PROFITS> It is just not fair...Instead of paying Professional athletes millions of dollars, let's pay the doctors, teachers, and surgeons the millions that they deserve....Sorry had to let it out!!!

well so the writers arent getting a percentage off movies or season dvds that they write and they wont work untill they get wat theyy want
They are writer's who want their fair share of the profit from dvd sales and movie sales. The network refuse to give them their fair share so they went on strike and refuse to work until they get what they feel they deserve.
