Does anyone watch "Kitchen Nightmares"?!
Question: Since becoming a fan of "Hell's Kitchen" with Gordon Ramsay, I decided to watch the series "Kitchen Nightmares" , where he goes into restaurants and remodels and helps them improve their food and business. I would like your opininons of the show.

i watched hells kitchen and now watch kitchen nightmares..i find it hilarious and sad that the local health depts arent finding all the bugs..and people who call him then get mad when he criticizes them are stupid why did they want him there in the first place..i think its a great show
It's pretty disturbing to watch how resturant kitchens operate!

I like it, I used to work in restaurants ( almost 20 years). It makes me want to open a restaurant.
I like the show. I watch both the UK and US versions. I question just how much time actually goes by when he does the actual transformation, but overall I like Ramsay and his ethic.

Well, I don't watch much TV, since it will melt your brain...my bf recently was pretty excited about it when he was surfing through channels...in his words..." The show is crazy, this chef guy goes into a restaurnat and totally F***s things up..." =X whatever THAT means
I love that show last week this guy dropped a piece of chicken in front of Gordon and still threw it in the deep fryer- some of the owners are sooo stupid though it is almost ridiculous

It is wonderful... also, on BBC America you can see the UK version, "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares". Currently, you can watch the US version "Kitchen Nightmares" on the internet, which is great if you miss an episode.
Its a good show. I personally prefer Hell's Kitchen. Nothing beats his insults in that show.
in terms of television its pure junk. since the writers went on strike ,20 yrs ago, the TV industry has put out a load of "REALITY SHOWS" they all are junk TV. they used to have all kinds of different shows that writers had to write. the only REALITY SHOW i watch is COPS. the rest of them are trash. i had a idea for a new show called nut house, the premise would be take a camera to a mental institution an film any thing unusual. you,d watch that one , would,t you?
I really like the show and how Ramsey approaches it all. But If I saw a familiar restaurant on there I would have to think twice about going back. Just some of the things I saw.....Yuck!! Makes you think what's going on in any restaurant behind the scenes.

My sister got me hooked on Hell's Kitchen, so of course we watch Kitchen Nightmares together, and it's hilarious. We've compared previous episodes with the new ones, and we try to pick out who's "Martin," (he's from the first restaurant they showed), and who's gotta get out of the kitchen.
And during the course of the show, we try to guess what's gonna happen, who's gonna get it (from Gordon), and stuff like that, it's quite eventful. I do enjoy the show, it's great to see them turned around into a whole new restaurant, it's also upsetting to see some of the places get to where they are before they ask for help.
It's a great show but horrifying at the same time. Watching these "restaurants" and the disgusting conditions in the kitchen makes me sick. It makes me never want to eat out again. Gordon does a great job pinpointing the exact problems and wiping the slate clean. I used to watch the original show on BBC and was glad to hear that it was coming to the U.S. I always watch everything Ramsey does. Very cool guy.
I like the show a lot. It's amazing to me how bad the restaurants are when he goes in. And it isn't just the restaurant, it's the staff. There's always one guy who needs an attitude adjustment big time.
LOVE IT! I watch both the american and british versions. Gordon is a hottie!
It's pretty gross when he has the kitchens cleaned and sees all these nasty things . I think it was last week when Chef Ramsay saw a cook put a chicken wing in the fryer after it had fallen on the floor . When he questioned him he said it gets sanitized in the fryer . It makes me not want to ever eat out . I like when he is mean to them and then in the end they all thank him .

it's an eye opening hoot. you hear stories about dirty restaurants but never in you imagination would you believe that a restaurant could be that filthy and some of the food uggh makes my stomach turn. i think its funny when they ask for help and they let their egos get the best of them.
I like watching the show. It's an alright show. It's really disgusting how the restaurants get exposed. Now I'm really self-conscious of going to the restaurants.
