Why are all Kids shows crappy these days?!
Question: I'm 15 and I remember when there were good shows on for kids to watch. Disney channel and Nick are horrible. I acctually found a good show to watch on the Kids WB but they changed it and now thats gay. Why have they stopped making good kids shows. Its not like I watch them anymore but I just feel sorry for kids these days.

I think it's because Kids are dumber now days then we were when we were kids.
Thunder Cats, GI Joe, He-man, MGM cartoons, Duck Tales, the good shows, actually required some brain thoughts not just sit and stare.
Now days all the shows are the kid shows are the same. Crummy animations where the kids themselves can draw the characters themselves, stupid stories (if there are any). They've just gone down hill.
i know!..all the old shows were so much better. especially the cartoons.

I'm 21 and I still watch kids shows...
but they don't make em like they used to (a comment that always shows your age).... THUNDERCATS HOOO! although Count Duckula was better....
SpongeBob Squarepants is great!!! it's the inane type of stuff I love!
spose i probably should at least try to answer the question.... I blame it on the internet! Less kids watching tv more on the internet, 1/3 of people cut down on tv time to use the internet or something along those lines.
My advice for all those people who do still watch cartoons is switch to Japanese ones, they have better animation, better storylines, better voice acting, bigger budgets and have a much wider range of genres than western ones.
Try watching the mainstream ones like Naruto and Bleach (both action) and moving on to things like seto-no-hanoyome(Romantic comedy, dont worry japanese romantic comedys are actually funny especially when they involve mermaid yakuza bosses)
