let's put it this way...your 'in depth' knowledge of music permits you to overthrow the continuous mass voting for this couple and sneer at them? Right?
Out of over 100,000 entrants to the competition they are among the last six to still be in. Every week enough people vote for them and they have continued to progress.
Personally I don't like the way the rather insipid Leon sings, but each week he, too, is voted 'in'. That's his right, however much I prefer other acts.
Same difference have one thing going for them...they ARE different!
Look round the charts, there are a number of very successful 'girl' bands, yet they all sound pretty much the same, if we are honest...same goes for the 'boy' bands that are currently 'flavours of the month' (even recreated)
There are no boy/girl duos who sing harmonies so it is entirely possible the difference will make people continue to vote for them. perhaps ordinary people want to get away from the highly orchestrated and mainly visual 'sex to music' plethera of music that currently fills the charts?
Although I think Rhydian has the best voice by far I just don't like HIM. He has (or, at least, had) an attitude problem...he's working hard to become more likeable, so maybe he'll win after all. Remember that he has the praise of all the judges and it is they who decide, not the public, who (of the last two each week) stays in. (and talk about bad haircuts!)
'Same Difference' are not really my cup of tea, but they CAN sing and there are, quite obviously, enough people around who really DO like them and just keep on voting...
...but, of course YOU know better, don't you?

i don't dislike them as people, but as far as their act is concerned, it's more cheesy than the deli section in tesco's !!!
They are better than alot of groups in the charts. How many bands do you see on telly and they look like they lost a thousand pound and found 10p.
Next week Same Difference are singing a Slipknot song, so hold your judging till then.

TV broke, so didn't see it this week. greatly dislike rhydian and same difference, i really don't think there is a lot of talent this year. i can't believe simon got rid of the trio of young black men in favour of same difference, futureproof and hope.

Same difference are weird they are nice people but a bit too nice i feel sorry for them who is voting for them they will never sell records like Shayne Ward or Leona, as for Rydian i don't think he should win (and he has a attitude problem)he's a good singer but he's classical trained and Andrew Lloyd Webber has already all wants to sign him for musicals, i think there are other's in the competition that should get the chance to make something of themselves.
Thank god you said u were being sarcastic, Same Difference are so bad I can't quite believe I really saw it. There's a kids tv called hi5, they would fit right in. Do you remember Rod, Jane and Freddy from the 80's I think they must be their inspiration, I thought steps were annoying, that's nothing compared to them.
They would be OK for CBBC...The kids would love them.
