It wasn't on last night. They didn't show it this week because it clashed with Children In Need.
If you download DigiGuide you can search for any programme showing on any channel for up to 6 weeks.
You can watch it online in a day or so. Go to the network's website (I can't remember if Ugly Betty is on ABC or NBC)....I watch pushing daisies and my name is earl online all the time.
Most of the networks are showing their shows in repeats on the web, try abc.com or cbs.com, I forget where Ugly Betty is on, but try looking for the lost episode with those.
Ugly betty was not on friday this week. but if it was on wednesday it will be repeated sunday.

Try E4 or Channel 4 again. Watch out with E4 though because they also show next friday's Channel 4 episode. Failing that try 4OD on the internet or though iTunes.

good news! it wasn't on friday night. I thought the same as you, but they showed the greatest comedy sketches instead. If u do ever miss Betty its repeated on E4 on a Sunday night and is on channel 4 in the day on Sunday. U'll have to check the tv listings though because they do keep changing the times. It's also on a Wed night on e4, but that is the episode that is to be shown on Friday night on channel 4. It's the Victoria Beckham one next week, cant wait.
