That totally threw me off too. I was suspicious of that guy, but I never thought he'd shoot her. You can be sure I'm going to watch next Wednesday. I hope she doesnt die, because she's an integral part of the team. I also hope Morgan doesnt see this as a reason to go back to his cynical side. I thought the whole program would fall apart when Mandy Patinkin left, but Joe Mantegna has brought a whole different slant to the show.
I knew that guy was too good looking for her (not in a gay way.) I don't think she will die or they would have just killed her off already. I want Gideon back!!!!
I have to admit, I did not see the shooting coming until the last minute. I think Morgan's biggest problem will be with Garcia being shot after her blow up at him. It will prove interesting.
He has never been interested in Garcia the way she is in him, that has been obvious. How weird if that changes now...
I don't think you have anything to worry about. If anything, I think this episode was used to give Garcia even more of a role in the show.

Garcia didn't die but Mandy Patinkin will leave the show and Joe Mantegna will replace him, that'll be awful since i like Mandy's character
She won't die...almost all of the characters in the show have been subjected to some type of near death experience. Last season it was Reed when he was almost killed by the guy with two personalities.
FYI...next week is sweeps week and this cliff-hanger is to help generate buzz and get more viewers.
No they won't have her die, because they just had a MAJOR character switch with Gideon leaving. That would just be too much change for the viewers.
But I do like the arch of Morgan finding God and then Garcia getting shot. You know there's going to be a lot of him praying for her next week. It would be cool if they introduced a little romance between them. Even if it didn't go very far-- would still be a very interesting dynamic.
I don't think she will die. I was suspicious of that guy, but didn't think he would shoot her!! I think Morgan will feel guilty because he will feel responsible because she wasn't going to call him until her little spat with him. Should be a good episode!
I hope not...I really like her. I think that Morgan will finally admit that he has deep feelings for her.
