It's a live show and sh*t happens. What you should be asking is why the sound is so good on other "live" shows...
Cos it's live telly brilliant to see the camera crews and sound crews make fools of themselves for one night a year fabulous!!!!
there's nothing wrong with the mics and the sound at all...it's just that some groups can not sing live and some can't.....

And what's with all the screaming from the paid screamers in the crowd.
(And don't slate me and call me a Scrooge...i sat in a tub of baked beans last year for CIN..I'll have you know....I'm still picking them out of my bum hole)
