It has been very OTT, but I think that it what they wanted as the whole Stacey/Bradley/Max thing, was good, but they need something to get the audiences talking again and with these episodes they have

I actually phoned up the BBC to complain on Tuesday (not surprisingly the switchboard was jammed) I just put across the view that even after the watershed there isnt that much violence. Now obviously very clever editing made the sequence more exciting but never the less there are children who would be watching this and maybe just maybe they should have put up a warning.
While I'm saying this does anyone remember that advert going back ten years for the broadcasting watchdog in which they had two kids arrested and one of them said "Get these nasty handcuffs off me." and the voice over said "We dont expect programmes to be unrealistic etc....
But they certainly did push the boundaries especially mentioning drugs etc.
Back in the 60's when I lived in the east end it was worse than that, that is when we had real violence with real gangs.
i know its so violent, maybe they have done that to get more viewers attractions?

i usually love eastenders but i really hate gangster storylines, and as for the vic storyline as if that would happen, they be caught stright away not respecting gangster{if your good you make sure you dont get caught} would do that its suicide
i dont think it was brutal at all i mean if they showed sumone bein raped or beaten to death i could understand u sayin that but at the end of the day they show worse things on tv n noone says anythin
