Why is "The Office" such a great show?!

it's pure comic genius...i dont work in an office, im still in school and it's one of my favorite shows! the subtle comedic moments are the best...some people just dont get it and that means their sense of humor sucks ***
personaly i think that the camera angles are great, pay attention to this and youll see what i mean. Also i think that the jokes in the office are sooo true that its hard not to laugh
Maybe the act of insubordination is what entertains you, or you can relate to the show, or it is just simply funny.^^,
I think you get the scense of humor of "The Office" better if you work in a office enviroment.
It is just hilarious, I don't know if there is an explaination for it! I think it is partly because Steve Carell is soooo funny. The things he says are just sooo ridiculous that you can't help but laugh!
Because it's different. It's made to seem like people's real lives, not a soap opera. We can really relate to them. The talking heads (interviews) definitely add something. Also, when the characters look into the camera, it kind of gives the show an edge that other shows just don't have.
Also, in my opinion, it just has a different sense of humor than a lot of other shows out there. Some people don't find it funny, but I think it's hilarious. It seems like people either love it or hate it. I love it!
