Does anyone really miss the striking writer's guild?!

Question: I just realized that all the shows on TV, that are affected by the strike, are shows that I don't watch.
Which of your favourite shows are affected?

Right now, yeah, just The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. Like everyone else is saying, it's gonna be worse in a month or so, when all the shows run out of the scripts and then everything is on hiatus for the foreseeable future.

Given the complex nature of what they're fighting over, and the fact I don't see any way they can come to a quick, easy decision (otherwise they would have), I envision this strike going on for at least 2-3 months. Which means by the time it's over the shows would have been into the rerun period anyway, which means they will all just wait until next season.

For the moment, only late night TV (Late Show, Daily Show, Colbert Report). But if the strike lasts long enough, almost all scripted shows will be affected.

none of my shows are affected so far.... thank heaven! I hope they figure it out soon so they dont mess it up in the future though.

They are all showing shows that the writers have written, give it another few weeks and then we will see.

Other than the late night talk shows, we haven't seen the full effect of the strike yet. It will be another month or so before that happens...if they continue, we won't have new shows for half of next year really....
