Baby boomers, what are some of the best TV shows you grew up with that carried a!

Question: I'm doing a report and would like some suggestions on these types of old TV shows. I always liked the Lone Ranger, because his moral code was emphasized in the episodes.

Some shows, like Lucy, ect. were just mainly comedy, so I don't mean those. Leave it to Beaver always seemed to convey a lesson to be learned, so more like those, if you can think of any (that children should watch today). Little House would be another example; looking for more..

Liberals, stay out of it, please, thanks.

Bonanza. I still enjoy Bonanza.
Lorne Greene, who played the father, Ben Cartwright, was a terrific father figure. He had sons with distinctively different personalties, and showed each of them a good way.
Little Joe was girl crazy and ready to fight at the drop of a hat. He got in the most fights and got jiggy with the most ladies.
Hoss was more interested in food than women, it would seem. Every now and then he would take a fancy to a woman, but he was not the ladies man Little Joe was.
The third brother, whose name I can't recall, had a head for business and was probably the smartest of the three. But he usually kept a low profile, which is probably why his name doesn't stand out.
The moral lessons on Bonanza were more interesting than on Leave It To Beaver, lol. On Bonanza they carried guns and had brawls.

sorry i don't have an answer for you, my mom would know...
but i like the last line of your details =D

huh? why do liberals need to stay out of it?

"Lance Link Secret Chimp", it was a great show, all with monkeys as secret agents, had a catchy them song and let you know that having fun was important. Matta Harri was his girlfriend, I loved IT!

Father knows Best
Ozzie and Harriett
Make room for Daddy or Father cant remember

Pretty much all of the stuff I watched had a moral lesson.

Brady Bunch
Partridge Family
Gunsmoke
Bonanza
Lost in Space

The best one I know of that morals to the story is He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe. At the end of each story or part, He-Man or one of the members of his kingdom would always have a moral of some kind.

Ben Cartwright's three sons were Adam, Hoss & Joe.(Joseph, as Ben often called him.) Does anyone know what Hoss' real name was? HOSS IS A NICKNAME.
