I applied to get in to kid nation season two. You have to print this really long application form and go in and tell them why you should be on kid nation. You can also send in a tape. Check their page on CBS.com and see when the next auditions are.
Have an agent because everyone on the show already has one.
The cast is basically made up of wannabe child actors.
