Please explain the back story on the Nip/Tuck character dynamics? I am a new wat!
Question: I've watched it last season and this season and a smatering of reruns of the beginning ones so I THINK I have the story staright on the relationship between Sean/ Christian/ Julia/ Matt. But I'm not sure. Please explain their dynamic. Meaning, if the guys are just friends (relationship? i know not sexual), why they are both Matt's father (is Christian the bio one?), did Julia get with both? (with or without their consent?)

They were all best friends since medical school ,Julia was studying to be a doctor too but quit to marry Sean,Christian was in love with her and they have sex the night before the wedding,Julia was never sure who was the father so when Matt was 18 she did a DNA test which came back proving that Christian was the father and that was the beginning of the problems between her and Sean. She tried to go back to medical school but then she realized it was too late ( and she had and affair with another student ) that was back in season 1
Supposedly Christian slept with Julia right before she and Sean got married. At the beginning of the first season (i think) you find out Christian is really Matt's dad, not Sean, which is why Sean and Julia began having problems in the first place.
Julia slept with both but married Sean, when Matt was 18 she decided she should do a DNA test just to get rid of any doubts that Sean wasn't Matts dad, and lo and behold Christians the dad!
Nip Tuck in general is COMPLETELY mad!
Yeah last nights episode was out of this world. But Sean is not Matts bio dad, Christian is. Julia slept with Christian before she married Sean and thats what happened with that.
I've been a die hard fan since Season 2. I have all seasons on DVD.
