I don't know, they don't really mention him. They showed him on last week's episode though, he was at the kitchen table with annie. And sure enough, they showed his hands! =)

He did not appear in the episode and I thought he would be the reason for showing up but like Wilbur they are playing down his character.
And given the heat in this episode I can see how that is a good idea....
