you are probably having no joy because you have got the spelling wrong. it should be Chorlton and the Wheelies?
but yes I do remember it. it was a cult program in the UK, much the same as "the magic roundabout"

I used to love that when I was a kid. I still do, truth be told! I've got the whole of the first season on DVD, and my kids think it's fab too. Ahh, they don't make them like they used to, do they?
