Real Time with Bill Maher was a repeat this week. It is early on for most of the programming to be affected. For example, I saw an interview with Teri Hatcher in which she stated that Tuesday, 11/13, would be her last day of shooting until the strike ends. There are several episodes "in the can" already, but it depends how the networks are going to handle those canned eps. If they think this strike may go on for a while, then they may hold on to the eps; but if they believe it won't last long, the eps will be shown as scheduled with hopes that the strike will finish in time to get the actors back to work.
well my favorite show is heroes, and i heard that because of the strike, they only have 3 more episodes before the season finale instead of like 23 like last season, and that really ticks me off b/c i want it to go on longer, and it is just really annoying that it has to end so soon, esp. cause its such a good show!!! :-(
Yeah, it's sad that our favorite programs are affected by the strike, especially Heroes, but I support writers. They work so hard, spending time, using there mind in creating fascinating shows and don't get paid much! On the other hand, directors, producers and cast make billions. I'm a writer too; I can feel their pain!
I support the writers, but yes, it will affect a lot of my favourite shows.
Heroes will end sooner and the spin-off Heroes: Origins has been cancelled.
Only 8 episodes of Lost will air in February, leaving the other 8 for an unknown release date. And I was so happy that it was just announced that the 16 episodes would air in one go, with no hiatus...
etc... :(
Guess we'll have to wait and see.
