I really like them both, but thought Simon Cowell was very rude to Jeremy!

Luckily Jezza is equal to the ego of Pscho Cowell, thank goodness. My heavens, he's arrogant, isn't he. I used to find him quite attractive in a power-mad way but I think now he's even outdone himself and believes all his own hype. Give me Jezza, Jazza and Hamster any day!
And fancy saying that Clarkson didn't actually know anything about cars! Nah, that's why he's been presenting Top Gear and writing about cars since about 1902.

yeah that was a good episode, but as you say simon was quite rude but jeremy gave as good as he got, although i nearly wet myself with the stig on public transport especially when his mobile phone started ringing with coronation street as his ring tone.
Didn't see it, but imagine each is more than capable of holding his own.
Hope there's a repeat I can watch.

I thought they were both very funny - and I was very impressed with Simon's lap time. However, I do think they should have agreed to make clarkson a judge - even if only for one night - I'd love to hear his comments - Mr Nasty would become Mr Nice I'm sure!
How our Jezza managed to stay in his seat and not knock the smarmy git out is beyond me. Did you hear that comment about JC not having any knowledge of cars because he's never built one? I've never heard anything so bloody ridiculous in my life. Cowell's a smug, egotistic, slimy git.
Maybe Simon felt threatened because Jeremy is a much brighter witt than Simon.
I'm sure if it wasn't at the risk of ratings, Jeremy could have given Si a run for his money in a battle of words. ;)

Yeah, it was hilarious, i don't normally watch top gear, but there was nothing else on worth watching, as everyone else said, Jeremy had the last laugh, i think simon cowell is a total t***!
Clarkson's a much better at arguing than people give him credit for, usually because he sticks to the point, which is pretty rare in many arguements!

Yeah, it was good to see them although i think they're probably good mates behind it all.
A good episode of Top Gear, what a shame they are falling behind showing some cars compared to Fifth Gear, other shows and magazines, etc such as the Caparo T1.
The Misubish i was said to be the 'news' but it's been out for quite a while now and a guy on my road has one!

I thought they were both great and Jezza dealt with Simon very well. Let's face it Jezza can be very outspoken - look at that hilarious comment he made about the McCartney divorce!!! ;o)
A good match, but I think Simon finished just a little ahead.
I think it was a lot of tounge in cheek myself I know Simon adores Top Gear and never misses it when on and loves being first on leader board.
Jez gave him as good as he got back but did think wow Simon calm down he is right about having a fast car is useless in London as you can't get the speed up.
