I was looking forward to him being in there - I think he had the potential to stir everything up and cause some controversy, shame!!

I don't hink they get paid if they don't take part.

I don't really care - but I contest your comment about him being 'genuine and intelligent' - face facts - his only interest in appearing on the show was the £100,000 pay packet - NOTHING ELSE.

No great loss to the world as I see it

I think he is a total waste of time and money. Who on earth would travel all those miles to turn around and come back again?? I'm not a fan of I'm a Celebrity so couldnt care less to be honest but feel he didnt put much thought into what he was doing and is being a bit selfish not giving it a go. Someone much more appreciative of the offer could have gone in his place had he taken the time to think!!

he/s told us what we already know.no real surprise.

i agree with what he says,it is fixed they know who has won already, just like all the other reality shows they are all fixed....

Malcolm McLaren is not the sort of person to engage with 'mainstream' TV unless it's for self promotion & now he has achieved the his aim without having to step into the jungle - everyone is talking about him.

He was a master of this sort of publicity when he managed the Sex Pistols....

I think this was for publicity because he said nothing that nobody knows already, I mean we all know it's staged and that it is crawling with 300 TV staff and crew. They are in no real danger because otherwise it would be a health and safety risk and they wouldn't get insured. Also the 'show' is so heavily edited (that is why they all have to wear matching clothes so you can't see the editing).

That doesn't actually make sense, if he was speaking out about reality TV, then WHY did he agree to appear in a reality TV programme????????????

Personally I think he just wanted a free trip to Oz!

Hes a idoit, they could have got someone who actually wanted to go on the show.
What a waste.
Didnt he think on the plane, what am i doing??
x

Seeing as you ask, I really couldn't give a fig about whether he stayed or left ! ! ! !

Sorry but I love this programme.
I'm fairly sure your TV license only pays for BBC, but if you don't like it turn it over. :-)

Was He right to walk out and speak up? Yes he was

Was he right to take a pay check, free flight when he had no intention of going in? No
