Answers: from a boy to a man to a casuelty of war.did it reflect the futile reason for war.

maybe , i thought it was very good but also very sad ,well written and acted piece of drama , it makes you realize just how brave these young men were ,to go to war and give their lifes up for their country we should never forget their bravery and courage xxx

sorry i missed it but i really wanted to watch do you know if they will repeat it!

beautifully acted-from a boy to a man -Daniel Ratcliffe has shown he's not Harry Potter any more-showed why it was called the Great War and the right day to screen it

yes they did mention at the end that it would be out on dvd soon. i thought this was a moving drama that was brilliantly acted. it really made me think about how families where ripped apart by the war and in this day and age i doubt very much if people would be so desperate to fight for their country.

sorry Country didn't watch it, I watched wife swap the aftermath on E4!

It wasn't about the futile reasons for the war, it was just about one boy who turned into a man and lost his life, a true and personal story of Rudyard Kipling's son and very well done too, I found it very emotional, my grandfather fought in the battle of the Somme and lost both his legs, I still remember the stories he told me as a young child.
