What's the BBC show "The Office" about?!
Question: I was watching it and i did not get it. I mean they were talking about a crappy relationship and then a drinking problem and they just wouldnt stop saying "WHATS UP!!??"

its a comedy show, i know when i first watched an episode i honestly thoght it was a documentary. some people like it others dont, it depends on your sense of humour, it just focuses on an paper merchants office and focuses on the idiocy of the office manager David Brent played by Ricky Gervais
it's about an office. the boss (David) thinks he's a comedian, a salesman (Tim) is in love with the secretary (Dawn). I am an avid viewer of the American version also called the Office. I have found that sometimes people who have only seen the show once tend not to get it. Watch a few episodes (American or Britsih) and maybe things will clear up for you.
if Im not mistake its where the american version came from
