I haven't seen the show but I have been reading the book and am disapointed so far. Its rare that I will put down a book even if I don't like it but I think I'm done with that one. Hopefully the show is better...

For some reason I want him to be more sinister and leacherous than he is in the show. I like the A A girl and the fact that they had sex but I want more with this new Dexter. The season seems to be about sex and in particular his mother having sex with his adoptive father, bringing to question who was his father. I think the show could have some fun there. I know they are adapting the books and all but I would like to see them spice things up a bit more now. Wtih Brian out of the picture Dexter needs a new obsession in his life....
