I remember when MTV played video's 24/7 with no commercials or stupid dating shows(it was in the 80's).They played all types of music videos and were the show that started the vj's,remember Martha and all of them?They have trl but the funny thing is you don't even know the videos on it cause they don't even play them anymore.If they play a video it's just a few second's of it.I want my MTV to come back but i think it's just dead.
I just hate how MTV plays antm marathons almost everyday!! They get so boring...

I hate how MTV plays so much rap (when they do play music videos, that is) and how when they find a good band like Paramore, they over play them and say that they are a new band... it makes me so angry lol.
The whole "MTV" name doesn't even match for what it is now. It's supposed to be all about music music music and not those dumb shows like "Scarred".
Next is a good show

Do they even play videos anymore? It's all stupid dating shows, reality crap, and reruns of Americas Next Top Model. I think the only time they actually play videos is during TRL and they never play the whole thing. Its just a bunch of crap now. I also can't stand there stupid awards shows. They are responsible for Britney's lame performance. They should all be ashamed. I really dislike MTV.
It is now a venue for insipid dating shows and boring reruns of 'America's Next Top Model', hopefully one day they will go back to their roots and present all music.
