What happened on the ending of the combined episode of CSI and Without A Trace?!

The hooker said to the FBI that the father of the boy was about to hit her upside the head, to kill her. He was going to do that because he wanted to stop the kid from crying and hit her and told her to make him a sandwich. When he was about to hit her, the kid stopped it and said that he wanted to see the videotape of him when he was a little baby.
The FBI said that because of that act, that boy saved that hooker's life. Then, they went to find where the sister was at, because maybe he will contact her. Then they tracked the car he was spotted in. When they located the car, they found out that he was in another car-a Camry-that was stolen and located somewhere in Jersey. Newark, if I am not mistaken. Anyway, when they located that car, they found a man who was slashed by the man. The guy was a painter who was trying to unload the truck but could not because the car was in the way. He saw the kid and asked where is father was at and if he would move his car so that he could work. Then when he saw the kid's reaction, he knew something was wrong and tried to ask the guy if something was wrong and everything was all right. That is when the guy slit his harm with a knife and the kid ran off.
The man who was hurt was all right and was told that he did a good thing and that they hope he gets better.
Since they knew he always used the train system, they went to the closet one near there.
Meanwhile, they called the sister and showed her pictures of the women who were killed. She still did not believe them up until the point she saw that all the women wore the jewelry he gave her-after killing those women. He finally contacted her because they knew that was his M.O. When he did call, they had it on tape and pretty much said that she will get in trouble for him. Because of this, he met them at around Port Newark or somewhere along that area. When they went to see him, he explained that the kid ran off after he slashed the guy. The kid cried and promised not to run anymore. That is when the man told him to run. Just run and not look back.
Then they asked if the kid was in the truck he met them there with. He said 'No' and killed himself.
Then when they went to look for the kid, they found him in one of the empty cars. Then they took him to his aunt-a woman he never knew-and they hugged. Then Jack and Gil went to the home of the first kid that was found dead in a field.
Jack went to talk to the adopted family that had that little boy kidnapped from them years before. Gil stayed behind because he could not face the parents. It was too much for him to take.

pretty much they get the Killers sister to help by waiting for her brother(the killer) to call her and talk to her.He called her and she was so upset about what he did she couldn't really talk to him so the detectives jumped in the phone convo and talked him into making a deal with them.The detectives told him that they want the kid or his sister will go to jail for helping him out..He didnt want his sister to go to jail so he agreed to meet the csi team at the rail road tracks .They met up with him and the csi team asked for the kid.He said he didnt have his son beciase he couldnt kill his son so he let him go runaway in the streets....then after talking with the killer he shot him self in the head because he said his life was ruined and he had nothing to live for...The csi team later on finds the kid hiding in a train alive...The kids reunites with his aunt( the killers sister)
(((i dont know if yuo saw this part but you also see a flash back that the killer killed his older brother out of jealousy when they were very young over a necklace.))
